IT Support Engineer (Level 2) – Manufacturing Operations (ID: 674966)

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in IT support, particularly within a manufacturing environment, and be prepared to work from Wednesday to Sunday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with the possibility of overtime as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advanced Technical Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving complex IT issues escalated from Level 1 support, including network connectivity, server performance, and application-related problems.complexsql.com
• System and Network Maintenance: Perform routine checks and maintenance on IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance of servers, network devices, and manufacturing systems.
• Hardware and Software Management: Oversee the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of IT hardware and software, including desktops, laptops, printers, and specialized manufacturing equipment.
• Asset and License Management: Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT assets and software licenses, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• User Account Administration: Assist in the creation, modification, and termination of user accounts, ensuring appropriate access controls are in place for all staff members.
• Collaboration with Central IT Team: Work closely with the central IT team to implement security measures, compliance protocols, and system upgrades.
• Training and Documentation: Support the development and delivery of training programs for end-users, and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems and procedures.
• Incident Management: Utilize ticketing systems to track and resolve IT incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to manufacturing operations.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience: Good to have 3 years of experience in IT support, with a focus on manufacturing environments preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in managing IT systems and networks, with experience in SAP, Oracle Application Server, and MySQL.

Working Hours:

• Schedule: Wednesday to Sunday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Overtime: Availability for overtime as required to support manufacturing operations.
