Customer Service Engineer
  1. Key Responsibilities
As the primary technical bridge between field operations and the back office, you will ensure high-level machine performance and customer satisfaction across the Southeast Asia (SEA) region.
  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide advanced remote and on-site support for hardware, software, and process issues. Analyze machine performance (electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic) to resolve complex failures.
  • Service Operations & Quoting: Generate technical quotations for retrofits and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). Follow up on digital service reports and manage the end-to-end service lifecycle.
  • Inventory & Logistics: Lead regional stock planning, ordering, and distribution of spare parts to ensure minimal downtime for SEA customers.
  • On-Site Execution: Lead machine installations, commissioning, and preventive maintenance. Assist with machine assembly and technical demonstrations for regional trade shows.
  • Training & Optimization: Conduct on-site customer training for safety, operation, and maintenance. Consult on process optimization and production ramp-ups (e.g., test soldering and CPK evaluations).
  • Documentation & Collaboration: Maintain precise service records and technical reports. Partner with regional Sales and Service Managers to drive customer-centric solutions.
  1. Qualifications & Requirements
We are seeking a proactive engineer with a "hands-on" mindset and the ability to navigate complex technical landscapes independently.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Professional Experience: 3–5 years of experience in machine service, installation, or process support—ideally within SMT or THT manufacturing environments.
  • Technical Literacy: Expert ability to interpret technical drawings, pneumatic diagrams, and electrical schematics.
  • Systems Proficiency: Experience with SAP, CRM (MS Dynamics), and MS Office. Proficiency in specialized machine software is highly preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a customer-oriented mindset. Must be able to manage multiple high-priority assignments simultaneously.
  • Mobility: High flexibility and willingness to travel frequently across the Southeast Asian region.
