Senior Specialist / Assistant Manager – Treasury Operations (Settlements)

Salary: Up to $5500/mth

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven professional to join our Operations team in Singapore. This role is responsible for the end-to-end processing and control of Treasury transactions, as well as supporting new product implementations.

• Perform daily processing of Treasury products, including FX/MM, IRS/Futures, Bonds, Repos, and TMU transactions
• Handle trade verification, confirmation matching, settlement, and investigation of discrepancies
• Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with internal policies and procedures
• Liaise with Front Office and counterparties to resolve trade-related issues and ensure smooth settlement
• Support the implementation of new products and system enhancements
• Manage SWIFT Alliance operations, including message processing
• Prepare reports for management, head office, and regulatory authorities (e.g., MAS)
• Support Accounts Payable processes, including vendor payments and staff claims (via Oracle system)
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and controls
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Relevant experience in Treasury Operations / Settlements within a financial institution
• Strong knowledge of Treasury products such as FX, Money Market, Derivatives, Bonds, and Repos
• Familiarity with SWIFT messaging and settlement processes
• Experience with reporting to regulators (e.g., MAS) is an advantage
• Good understanding of operational risk and compliance requirements
• Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• Timely and accurate processing and settlement of trades
• Effective resolution of trade discrepancies and issues
• Compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements (no major audit findings)
• Contribution to process improvements and operational efficiency
• Strong adherence to internal controls and risk management standards
