Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, ambitious, and have a “hunter” mindset. You will be responsible for driving sales, building client relationships, and promoting our innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the local BD plan in line with company strategy and Singapore market dynamics, with priority on automotive dealers, dealer groups, auto finance players and relevant ecosystem partners.
- Proactively source and develop target accounts, and build relationships with key decision-makers including dealer owners, Dealer Principals, General Managers and Sales Managers to expand a high-quality pipeline.
- Develop a deep understanding of clients' business models, sales processes, current content operations and pain points, and craft targeted solutions around lead generation, sales conversion, content efficiency and showroom performance.
- Independently manage client meetings, needs analysis, product demonstrations, solution presentations, quotations, commercial negotiations and contract progression to drive deal closure and collection.
- Work closely with marketing, product, operations and delivery teams to support client onboarding, pilot implementation, case study development and opportunities for renewal or upsell.
- Continuously monitor market developments, competitors, client feedback and industry trends, and provide management with market insights and recommendations on product enhancement, pricing strategy and GTM execution.
- Maintain a disciplined sales pipeline, client visit records and stage-based forecasts to ensure process visibility, traceability and accountability for target achievement.
- Support channel development, ecosystem partnerships, industry events and brand visibility initiatives when required, strengthening Aimotion's market presence and influence in Singapore's automotive sector.
- Industry Background
- At least 3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development or key account acquisition, with hands-on exposure to the Singapore market.
- Candidates from automotive dealers, auto finance, automotive media/classified platforms, automotive digital marketing, dealer CRM / SaaS or related solution-selling environments will be preferred.
- Strong preference for candidates with established local dealer networks in Singapore, especially those who can access owner- or manager-level decision-makers and demonstrate actual prospecting and closing track records.
- Must demonstrate a clear hunter profile, with the ability to conduct cold outreach, open new accounts, build relationships and drive deals independently rather than relying mainly on account servicing.
- Management Capabilities
- Strong self-management and target management skills, with the ability to drive projects independently in a fast-moving and resource-constrained environment.
- Able to coordinate effectively across functions and work closely with product, marketing, operations, delivery and management teams to move opportunities forward.
- Experience in team coaching, channel management or sales process building will be an advantage.

- Strong consultative-selling capability, with the ability to uncover client pain points through structured questioning and insight, and convert product value into measurable business outcomes.
- Good commercial acumen and data sensitivity, with the ability to understand key metrics such as sales pipeline, lead conversion, content productivity and ROI.
- Professional working proficiency in English is required; fluency in Mandarin will be a strong advantage to support local Chinese-speaking clients and regional collaboration.
- Results-oriented, highly self-driven, resilient and comfortable operating in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Education
- Diploma and above. Candidates from marketing, business management, communications, automotive-related or other relevant disciplines will be preferred.
