Finance Executive - Japanese speaking

This role is suitable for a junior to mid-level finance professional with strong analytical skills, solid management accounting knowledge, and experience handling reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis. You will work closely with regional teams and HQ, supporting financial planning and business performance across multiple Southeast Asian entities.

• Prepare and consolidate budgets, forecasts, and monthly financial reports for APAC operations
• Analyze sales, costs, profitability, and capital efficiency, including inventory management and fixed asset utilization
• Monitor business performance and identify financial variances, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Support management reporting and regular submissions
• Assist in overseeing finance operations for Singapore and Southeast Asia subsidiaries
• Perform financial analysis including DCF calculations for investment evaluation
• Support cash flow planning and forecasting
• Assist in managing transfer pricing arrangements across regional entities
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors, banks, and other stakeholders
• Support compliance and governance processes; SOX knowledge will be an advantage
• Participate in finance process improvement initiatives and cross-functional operational support

• Around 3–5 years of relevant finance experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of management accounting principles and financial reporting
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Good experience in data analysis and financial performance review
• Good time management and a positive working attitude
• Japanese language skills (written and spoken) are essential for communication with Japan HQ
