Who You Are:
We are looking for someone to take up the Senior Associate Engineer position within the Facilities Operation and Maintenance organization.
Position Summary:
This is a Contract role. Lumileds is seeking a qualified Senior Associate Engineer to participate in the operation of our Facilities Operation and Maintenance department.
In this role, you will handle the day-to-day operation and assist the Senior Engineer/Manager on the troubleshooting & preventive maintenance of the facilities system.
What You Will Do:
- Run day-to-day Facilities Operation in ensuring uninterrupted supply of facilities utilities to end user at the required performance level and specifications.
- Ensure the existing daily operation tracking system for monitoring system performance and consumption are maintained.
- Possess the ability to effectively establish a tracking system for monitoring system performance and capacity usage. Recommend and implement changes to existing system where appropriate.
- Can analyze the data gathered, innovate new process for continuous improvement to current process and work with team to execute improvement plan to attain best in class quality and cost.
- Ensure all documents related to its job function are maintained and achieved the ready to audit status.
- Possess the ability to implement, review and improve maintenance programs such as preventive maintenance; predictive maintenance for system to ensure maximum system uptime can be achieved
- Carry out repair and troubleshooting on systems in an unplanned shutdown at the shortest period and to perform root cause analysis, implement action plan to prevent recurrence.
- Manage the spare parts inventory and inventory cost to ensure availability of critical spare for the day-to-day operation of the system.
- Apart from the daily operation and maintenance activities, candidate has to participant in section base programs such as “Operation Excellence, EHS, BBSC, TUTE…” program as part of team continuous improvement effort to the department and company.
- Ensure all site safety compliance is met as part of daily responsibility.
- Create, assist in updating and revising department documentation such as SOPs, SWI, Risk assessment, checklist etc.
- Participate in Company Emergency Respond Team (CERT) as team member and/or First Aider.
- Perform 12-hour shift (rotating) to support the Facilities Operation & Maintenance operation.
- Perform any other duties as directed by the Supervisor and/or Manager.
What You Will Bring (REQUIRED Qualifications):
- Able to work on 12-hour shift Day & Night on rotational basis.
- Strong work experience in Facilities Operation and Maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites.
- Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma in Engineering.
- Preference will be given to those with Mechanical or Electrical related background.
- Preference will be given to those with wafer fab/electronics industry experience.
- Engineering in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Material or related fields
- 1 - 3 years
