Role Overview

The Guest Relations Manager is the heart of the guest experience. This role is responsible for creating meaningful, memorable moments for every guest — from first contact to farewell. You will oversee front-of-house guest engagement, manage VIP relations, drive loyalty initiatives, and ensure service excellence aligns with our wine and music identity.

You are polished, emotionally intelligent, service-driven, and deeply passionate about hospitality, wine culture, and curated experiences.

Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Service Excellence
  • Lead and elevate the overall guest journey from reservation to departure
  • Personally welcome VIPs, regulars, and special event guests
  • Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns with professionalism and discretion
  • Maintain a strong presence on the floor during peak hours
  • Ensure service standards reflect the brand’s premium positioning
Reservations & VIP Management
  • Oversee reservation systems and table allocation strategy
  • Manage VIP databases and guest profiles
  • Build strong relationships with repeat clientele and corporate partners
  • Coordinate special requests, celebrations, and bespoke experiences
Wine & Music Experience Integration
  • Collaborate with the Sommelier and Music Curator to align guest experiences with wine features and music programming
  • Promote wine tastings, pairing events, and music nights to key guests
  • Educate team members on storytelling around wine labels and featured artists
Team Leadership
  • Train front-of-house staff on hospitality standards and guest engagement
  • Lead by example in warmth, attentiveness, and brand representation
  • Conduct pre-service briefings focused on guest notes and VIP arrivals
  • Foster a culture of service excellence and accountability
Brand Representation & Community Building
  • Act as an ambassador for Temper within Singapore’s dining and nightlife community
  • Engage with guests on social media touchpoints and feedback platforms
  • Support marketing initiatives and guest engagement campaigns
  • Build strategic partnerships with lifestyle brands and corporate networks
Requirements
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in luxury hospitality, premium dining, or lounge environments
  • Strong understanding of wine culture; WSET certification is an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Confident handling high-profile and VIP clientele
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced evening and weekend environment
  • Passion for music, ambience curation, and experiential hospitality
