KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION

• Manage day to day operations of Tableau server environment
• Ensure high availability, scalability and security of the server environment
• Responsible for administering the server, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing performance to support our growing user base.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Intelligence, or related discipline
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Tableau Server Administrator or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Tableau Server architecture and components
• Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation.
• Hands-on experience with Windows server environment
• Familiarity with SQL and database management (e.g, SQL Server, Postgres SQL)
• Understanding of networking concepts, firewall, and load balancing
• Experience with Tableau Server performance tuning and optimization
• Work with agile development methodology, adhering to best practice

• Exceptional communication skills to interact with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiples tasks and prioritize effectively
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals
