Event Operations Executive

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Event Operations Executive to coordinate and support the execution of events.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage on-site event operations with clients and vendors (e.g. catering services) to ensure smooth running of events.
• Handle logistical planning and set-up for events.This can include physically moving and setting up furniture such as tables, chairs, etc.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and security protocols throughout event execution.
• Manage event close-out procedures, including proper packing and return of materials, equipment and furniture.
• Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues as part of event preparation and during events.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in coordinating, managing and supporting events
• Strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with a hands-on, can-do attitude
• Ability to multitask and manage several responsibilities simultaneously
• Must be able to coordinate and manage on-site event operations and capable of handling event logistical setup
• Flexible and adaptable to various event environments and last-minute changes
• Able to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proactive, resourceful and good at problem-solving
• Willingness to work on occasional evenings and weekends
