Key Responsibilities- Lead, organise, and manage the project team in delivering Land Transport Authority (LTA) projects from inception to completion.
- Oversee resource planning, recruitment, training, and retention of project engineers, designers, and drafters.
- Provide mentorship and career development support to team members, including performance appraisals.
- Plan manpower allocation to meet project demands while ensuring personnel are competent and qualified for LTA project requirements.
- Manage projects in compliance with quality plans, contractual obligations, safety standards, and LTA specifications.
- Coordinate and maintain effective communication with stakeholders including LTA representatives, clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Monitor project costs and control site expenditures to protect profit margins, including processing purchase requisitions and supplier payments promptly.
- Ensure variation works are documented and approved before commencement, and maintain healthy project cash flow through timely progress claims.
- Track project performance against objectives such as timely completion and budget adherence, escalating issues to senior management when necessary.
- Conduct regular project meetings to provide updates, resolve challenges, and maintain momentum.
- Perform any other duties as required to support successful project delivery.
- Degree or Master’s in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with proven involvement in LTA projects.
- Proficient in MS Office and project management software such as MS Project or Primavera.
- Strong organisational and follow-up skills, with high attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including government agencies.
