Job Description

Develop, implement, and maintain production schedules and processes to ensure optimum productivity and efficiency
Hire, train, and manage production sta?, including setting and monitoring performance goals
Collaborating on new product ideas, developing recipes, conducting tests, and overseeing the transition from concept to production.
Create and maintain inventory records, manage raw material inventory levels and minimise wastage.
Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and industry standards
Identify and address production issues and area(s) for improvement
Monitoring production costs, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to optimize efficiency and profitability.
Monitor and maintain equipment and machinery in production facilities
Prepare production reports and communicate with upper management regarding production goals and results

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in food production management
Strong knowledge of food manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control procedures
Familiar with food safety and hygiene regulations
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions effectively
Ability to analyze data, interpret reports, and utilize relevant software and systems
