Job Description
We are looking for a talented and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our team in the retail industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ecommerce development, particularly with the Shopify Plus platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing our online retail presence, ensuring a seamless and engaging customer experience, and to also ensuring seamless integration with various systems and solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop and maintain ecommerce websites and applications using Shopify Plus.
- Implement system and solution integrations via API, JSON, XML, or traditional data transfer methods such as SFTP.We
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements and design scalable solutions.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Maintain and improve the performance of existing applications.
- Implement security measures and data protection protocols.
- Identify and fix bugs and performance issues.
- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in ecommerce and web development.
Job Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer in the retail or ecommerce industry.
- Extensive experience with Shopify Plus development, including Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and various Shopify APIs.
- Experience with system and solution integration via API, JSON, XML, or SFTP.
- Strong understanding of web development principles and best practices.
- Proficient in frontend technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and frameworks (e.g., React or Vue.js).
- Proficient in backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Ruby on Rails, or PHP).
- Strong understanding of database management systems, both SQL and NoSQL.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS or Azure).
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with version control systems.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
