Manager, Group Corporate Finance

The Manager, Group Corporate Finance will play a pivotal high performing function within the Company which work spans various sectors and entities for the Equity Capital Markets (ECM), International Banking Market, International Ratings, Debt Capital Market (public and private) and select M&A transactions.

The role will focus on financial structuring,debt raising, and M&A equity finance advisory missions, as well as managing banks, investors, and stakeholder interactions.

Capital Management and Treasury
  • Work closely with Group Corporate Financeteam and respective business team to support and lead the aspects of capital management programs through international banking market or through publicand private debt capital markets.
  • Plans associated Programs and participate in various Fund Raising programs (includes classical and innovative structure solutions).
  • Undertake Governance aspect of the Capital Management by streamlining compliance protocols across participating business verticals to increase financial transparency in management reporting and performance providing assurance on various related matters.
  • Participate in overall treasury function, including meeting short and long-term funding requirements and devising capitalstructure programs.
M&A and Strategic Transactions
  • Undertake the responsibility of financial modelling to be appraised by various stakeholders (incl.investors, lenders, rating agencies etc) as per the overall strategy formulation.
  • Participate in Due Diligence requirements, reports preparation and documentation negotiation and finalisation.
  • As part of Group Corporate Finance team, participate in select M&A deals, including undertaking due diligence and achievingthe funding requirements of the transaction (incl leverage financingrequirements)
  • To understand the international rating philosophy (across credit and Second Party Opinion) of various portfolio companies, and to support and ultimately undertake the function for specified entities.
Research, Business Development and Positioning
  • Conduct in-depth research and financial analysis, market intelligence on companies/industries/markets
  • Assist in preparing pitch books, presentations, research, valuation models, trading comparables etc
  • Ensures timely and accurate business/financial reports and plans; present them to the businesses andinvest or/lender community across business units.
  • Involve into analysis of the sector and the companies in which various portfolio companies look to expand its footprints and to prepare comprehensive valuation analyses, including benchmarks and comparative analysis.
External Financial Relations
  • As a market facing role, serve as company’s representative to financial/investment community and shareholdersand interact with various market participants via events, conferences,etc.
  • Assist in planning, coordination and hostingof events held by the Group.
  • Participate in banking and investment banking relationships function as per the overall GroupCorp Finance mandate.
  • Develop own business network with a view toincreasing origination capabilities over the medium to long term with the focuson building trust and relationship.
  • Involvement in international travel requiredfor site visits, meetings, roadshows, and events.
Leadership & Development
  • Conduct interview and screening, developtraining modules, conduct training, for the undergraduate Group Corporate Finance internship program.
  • Participate in various internal training programs and external seminars and workshop for knowledge, leadership and skilldevelopment.
Experience
  • 5-7+ years of Project / Corporate Finance experience,with significant exposure to Energy and Infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong analytical abilities with mastery of financialmodelling techniques for Project Finance & M&A transactions.
  • Meticulous and organized to meettight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record working incross-border environments, with a willingness to travel.
  • Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills,with the ability to prepare and present complex materials clearly.
  • Demonstrates initiative,accountability, and stakeholder empathy while adapting quickly to new challenges.
Education
  • Bachelors / MBA / Master’s degreein Finance, Accounting, or related discipline from a reputed institution.
  • Strong financial modeling,valuation, and capital structuring capability.
Skills & Attributes
  • Direct experience in financing energy and infrastructure projects.
  • Previous involvement in due diligence processes across different types of energy and infrastructure project financing.
  • Experience working with external consultants (such as legal, financial, technical, environmental) on energy and infrastructure transactions.
  • Ability to analyze in detail financial statements, legal documents, and due diligence reports such as market studies.
  • Skilled writer and communicator who can exchange ideas and information effectively in a concise and logical way.
