CNC Machinist

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with hands-on experience operating CNC Horizontal Boring & Milling Machines and Double Column Machining Centers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce precision components while ensuring quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and program CNC Horizontal Boring & Milling Machines and Double Column Machining Centers according to production requirements.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
• Set up workpieces, tooling, and fixtures to ensure accurate machining.
• Conduct in-process inspections and quality checks to meet precision standards.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with the Engineering and Production teams to optimize machining processes.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, specifically with Horizontal Boring & Milling Machines and Double Column Machining Centers.
• Strong understanding of CNC programming, setup, and operation.
• Ability to read technical drawings and perform precise measurements.
• Knowledge of machining materials, tooling, and cutting parameters.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant technical certification or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or CNC Machining is preferred.

Skills:

• CNC programming (Fanuc, Siemens, or equivalent)
• Precision measurement and inspection (micrometers, calipers, CMM)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Team player with strong communication skills

Working Conditions:

• Work in a manufacturing environment with adherence to safety standards.
• May involve standing for extended periods and handling heavy machinery.
