Operations Manager (Food Manufacturing))

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily operations to ensure timely delivery and high-quality output.
• Oversee production department
• Implement and enforce food safety, hygiene, and quality control standards in compliance with ISO, HACCP, and local food regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and improve production efficiency, reducing downtime and minimizing waste.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports for audits and internal reviews.
• Utilize SAP Production Planning (PP) module to manage production orders, monitor work-in-progress, and ensure data accuracy across production cycles.
• Manage production staff including training, scheduling, evaluating performance, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with procurement & QC to ensure smooth operations and inventory management.
• Investigate and resolve production issues, equipment malfunctions, and quality deviations.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for each stage of the production process.
• Participate in product development and process improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Degree in Food Technology, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in food production or manufacturing, preferably dried food sector.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on experience with production equipment and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and process-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP is an advantage.

Working Conditions:

• Manufacturing environment with exposure to spices, dust, and machinery noise.
• Required to wear protective gear (PPE) during production hours.
• May require extended hours during high-demand periods.
