Toa Payoh - Treasury Support Analyst (Capital Markets Application exp required)

You will have the support and guidance of identified subject matter experts, dedicated communities, as well as established leaders.

You will also liaise with business analysis and development teams to plan and manage priorities, highlight blockers and critical issues.

You will also be instrumental in optimizing the current procedures, ensure system resiliency with strong focus on continuous improvement. Provide support and mentor junior staff. Align yourself with bank’s initiatives and strategies.

The use of advanced technologies like API’s, artificial intelligence and cloud solutions are also becoming increasingly prevalent in capital markets to enhance efficiency and decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide functional and technical expertise on treasury system and other in-house bank applications.

• Must be able to mentor new/junior resources, impart knowledge and collaborate effectively within TSY and whole CMI.

• Flexibility to accept additional responsibilities and be able to multi-task.
• The Support analyst should have a pro-active mindset in security, incident preventive measures, productivity and global improvement of the quality of service.
• Business analyst under the supervision of senior Business analyst during the deployment phase
• Must be flexible to participate in post business hours activities such as but not limited to overnight on-calls, weekend interventions, DRP, releases and other application activities that can be performed only outside the business duration/weekends.

Mandatory Skills Description:

• 5-7 years of experience in Production Application Support of financial systems.
• Master degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge on treasury application for 3+ years or 3+ years of experience in IT Support for another Capital Markets applications
• ITIL certification/knowledge.
• Should be able to do SLA & KPI management, Client communication & interaction
• Predictive analysis, consulting, escalation management
• Risk analysis and project execution
• Knowledge in Capital Market FO/BO environment is an advantage
• Strong knowledge in Configuration Management
• Knowledge in XML, SQL, PL/SQL, Shell Scripting, MQ Series, CFT and Control-M.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Careful observance of standards and processes

• Strong analytical or troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
