Job Description
Finance Administrator
Purpose of the Role:
The Finance Administrator is responsible for managing the company’s financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and statutory tax filings. This role ensures accurate record-keeping of all financial transactions and supports management with timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Record Management
- Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Analyze financial data and highlight key trends or discrepancies
- Submit financial reports to the Director for review
- Consolidate year-end financial statements for salary adjustments and bonus reviews
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of invoices, receipts, and tax records
- Identify, investigate, and resolve any account discrepancies
- Statutory Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and submit statutory filings (e.g., GST, IR8A) accurately and on time
- Maintain proper documentation for audit and regulatory purposes
- Payroll & Employee-Related Administration
- Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner
- Track and maintain employees’ leave records
- Compute salary payments in lieu for employees going on home leave, marriage leave etc
- Support year-end payroll reporting and tax submissions
- General Finance Administration
- Assist in improving financial processes and internal controls
- Support audits and provide required financial documentation
- Perform any other ad hoc finance and administrative duties as assigned
- Prepare Invoices and SOA for clients
- Requirement
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and statutory requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Experience with Info-Tech software will be an advantage
