Data Analyst Intern

About the Role:

We are looking for a Data Analyst Intern to support our analytics team in creating dashboards, optimizing data pipelines, and documenting key processes. This internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in dashboard creation, data pipeline maintenance, and documentation in a fast-paced fintech environment.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Dashboard creation: Creation of dashboards with good visualisations following business logic flow in order to enable business leaders to make critical decisions
• Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in data processes and suggest improvements to optimize workflows.
• Data Quality Monitoring: Assist in validating data pipelines to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems.
• Collaboration & Learning: Work closely with product, business, and engineering teams to understand data structures and business processes.

What You Need to Be Successful in This Role:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Intermediate analytical SQL skills to query and manipulate data.
• Attention to detail and a strong ability to spot inconsistencies in data.
• Interest in user, trading and/or clickstream data (previous coursework or projects in this area are a plus).
• Basic knowledge with Python, Linux, and Airflow for DBT is advantageous, but can also be acquired during the internship.
• Strong documentation skills with the ability to clearly structure technical and business processes.
• Proactive and eager to learn, with the ability to work independently on tasks.
• Good communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
