In this position as a Technical Accountant, you will step into a pivotal operational role based in Singapore, where you will drive the efficiency and integrity of reinsurance programs while collaborating with senior regional stakeholders. You will be expected to manage the end-to-end administration of reinsurance portfolios, including treaty contract implementation and financial statement oversight.

• Facilitate the renewal process for treaty reinsurance through strategic negotiation, placement and necessary internal approvals.
• Oversee technical data collation and performance analytics, including catastrophe modeling and retention reviews to ensure robust protection.
• Lead regulatory compliance efforts by managing mandatory submissions to industry authorities and ensuring contract certainty standards.
• Drive continuous improvement by supporting system enhancements, automation initiatives and resolving cross-functional operational challenges.

• At least 3+ years of professional experience specifically within reinsurance operations, treaty or facultative management.
• Strong technical knowledge of various treaty and facultative reinsurance structures and renewal statistics.
• Proficient analytical capabilities with high competency in data management tools like MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with industry specific reporting requirements, rating agency considerations and catastrophe modeling data.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, multi-stakeholder environment.
