Technical Specialist

Job Summary

The Technical Specialist provides specialized technical support and expertise to ensure the stable, secure, and efficient operation of IT systems. The role focuses on troubleshooting technical issues, implementing effective solutions, and supporting IT Operations, Digital Forensics, and Incident Response activities through close collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

• Provide specialized and advanced technical support for IT systems, applications, and environments.
• Troubleshoot, analyse, and resolve technical issues related to system performance, security incidents, and operational disruptions.
• Support Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) activities by assisting with technical analysis, evidence handling, and system diagnostics, as required.
• Collaborate with internal teams (IT Operations, Security, and Production teams) to ensure smooth and secure day‑to‑day system operations.
• Implement and support technical solutions to enhance system reliability, operational efficiency, and incident response readiness.
• Document technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and compliance requirements.
• Participate in project‑based activities, contributing to end‑to‑end delivery, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience in technical support, technical analysis, IT operations, or related roles.
• Exposure to digital forensics, incident response, or security operations environments is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving capabilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non‑technical teams
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills
• Experience supporting end‑to‑end project activities and operational deliverables
• Knowledge of digital forensics and forensic analysis concepts
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Customer‑focused mindset with experience in stakeholder and client interaction
• Solid understanding of technical systems, IT infrastructure, and operational workflows
• Experience documenting and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Preferred Certifications CompTIA Security+ or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Ability to work in a standard office environment, including extended periods of sitting or standing and regular use of office equipment.
