Business Development Manager
Safran is a major player in its three domains: Aerospace propulsion, Aircraft interiors and Defense solutions. The Business Development Manager is mainly dealing in the Defense market.
Job description and Responsibilities :
As a Business Development Manager, you are in charge of the business within your territory.
As a Business Development Manager you will lead the customer and end-user relationships across all Safran Electronics & Defense product portfolio. You will ensure a long-term strategic partnership is maintained with all the Customers and entities under your responsibilities.
As a Business Development Manager you will be able to travel very frequently (+40¨% of working time).
Essential Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of your territory: customers, local partners, market and competitors.
- Business development of Safran Electronics & Defense product portfolio.
- Support to sales forces.
- Maintain on-going customer relationships, ensure customer satisfaction
- Participation and follow-up of meetings, report writing;
- Interact and co-ordinate closely with all levels within the company (sales, support, technical, program, finance)
- Ensure a constant awareness of tenders, defense budget, geopolitical context, concurrence and regulation within your territory
- Follow/update internal road maps, issuing marketing analysis and propose action plans to develop the business in your territory.
Graduate Level :
Master degree diploma in international High school in Business administration /Management or Engineer with International Sales and Marketing background;
Skills and experience required:
- 3 years of experience in international defense company;
- Knowledge in South East Asia business environment;
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writing;
- Capability to report and structure action plan and business plan;
- Strong organization skills;
- Self-starter;
- Team-worker;
- Strong capabilities of adaptation to worldwide group organization.
