Commercial Manager

Role Overview:

The Commercial Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and revenue performance within the assigned territory. This role focuses on direct-to-retail sales expansion, key account development, and execution of the Company’s commercial strategy, while ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales& Revenue Growth
  • Lead and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets within the assigned territory.
  • Drive sales primarily through direct-to-retail channels and key customer accounts.
  • Identify, develop, and secure new retail partners and commercial opportunities.
  • Manage pricing, promotions, and commercial negotiations in line with Company guidelines.
Channel& Account Management
  • Develop and manage approved sales channels in accordance with the Company’s commercial strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers and strategic partners.
  • Evaluate the use of distributors where direct sales are not commercially feasible and provide recommendations to management.
Market Development & Execution
  • Execute go-to-market plans and sales initiatives to support product launches and market expansion.
  • Monitor customer performance, sell-through data, and sales trends to optimize results.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure effective execution of sales programs.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer behavior.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates for management.
  • Provide actionable insights to support commercial decision-making.
Budget& Performance Management
  • Manage assigned sales budgets responsibly.
  • Monitor performance against targets and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
Compliance& Representation
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and Company policies.
  • Represent the Company professionally in all commercial and sales engagements.

Requirements& Qualifications:

  • Minimum polytechnic diploma in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in sales, commercial, or business development roles.
  • Proven track record in driving sales growth and managing key retail accounts.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
-Commercially driven, results-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Experience in regional or international markets is an advantage.
