About the Role
Reporting directly to the Global Logistics, Planning & Market Supply Chain Director, the Head of Supply Chain Business Operations will further enhance our supply chain performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives with functional leadership over the Supply Chain regions.It entails aligning global supply chain strategy with the organization's overarching business objectives. Key activities including standardizing processes, streamlining workflows, and implementing best practices. Moreover, the role involves fostering innovation and collaboration throughout Market E2E supply chain operations, while transversally instilling a culture of continuous improvement within the supply chain function.
This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, operational expertise, and leadership skills to drive transformational change across the organization.
Responsibilities- Design and Develop Supply Chain Business Operations Strategy: Define a clear vision and roadmap for the Global/Market Planning & Logistics team, ensuring alignment with the company’s global strategic objectives. Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and digitization to enhance operations and improve agility across inventory management, planning, logistics, and fulfilment. Lead the implementation of the Supply Chain Business Operations strategy in close collaboration with regional supply chain teams and enabling functions such as Finance, IT, DBS, HR and Revenue Protection.
- Project management: Leading and managing projects aimed at implementing supply chain improvements and transformation.
- Data Analytics and Reporting: Lead the supply chain analytics and reporting team. Built a cloud-based data pool and developed practical use cases. Focused on utilizing automated data to support decision-making, identify trends, and analyze performance.
- Best practices sharing and process standardization: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance functional performance. Develop and draft global standard policies and processes, ensuring consistent implementation and alignment across all regions.
- Performance measurement and reporting: Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and measure the success of improvement initiatives. Drive actions to improve Supply Chain performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain management, with a proven track record of driving process improvements and delivering results.
- Strong understanding of supply chain concepts, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and demand planning.
- Experience managing cross-functional complex projects.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive operational execution.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven leadership abilities, with a focus on fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability.
- Experience with S4/SAP IBP, Clouded Base Data Solution is advantageous.
