Job Description
This role supports and maintains Linux platforms across the Asia-Pacific region, serving as the Level 3 escalation point for incidents and contributing to the deployment of new services.
Key Responsibilities- Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) including installation, patching, upgrades, and core services (HTTP, NFS, LDAP, cron, etc.)
- Automate baseline installations and system updates
- Manage boot services, networking, users/groups, disk volumes (LVM, dm-multipath), SELinux and PAM
- Monitor, tune, back up systems, and proactively resolve performance issues
- Develop and maintain Shell/Perl/Awk scripts for automation and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with cross-functional infrastructure and application teams
- Provide Level 3 support for major incidents and participate in new service rollouts
- RHCSA certification (mandatory); RHCE preferred
- Strong experience in enterprise Linux administration
- Ability to work as a senior escalation engineer in a regional environment
