Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Linux Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting Linux environments, with a strong focus on RHEL administration and monitoring/observability platforms.The role will involve day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability and reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Perform day-to-day administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of RHEL-based Linux servers.
- Manage and support monitoring and observability platforms/infrastructure.
- Ensure system performance, availability, and security across Linux environments.
- Diagnose and resolve L2-level incidents, working closely with L3 teams where required.
- Participate in change management, patching activities, and routine system health checks.
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
- Strong proficiency in RHEL Linux administration.
- Experience managing or maintaining monitoring/observability platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic monitoring, etc.).
- Good understanding of system performance tuning, logs analysis, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Knowledge of shell scripting (Bash, Python or similar) is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience using or managing Elastic infrastructure (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Beats, etc.).
- Experience managing Nutanix infrastructure as part of daily operations.
- Exposure to virtualization, storage, and cloud environments is a plus.
