Senior Sales Engineer

My client is a world-renowned manufacturing MNC that is currently on the lookout for a Senior Sales Engineer who will be in-charge of their valve product portfolio.

• Build strong relationships with existing customers and accounts and identify opportunities to generate more revenue through upselling existing product catalogues.
• Develop new opportunities and customer base to develop new businesses and generate revenue.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge for valve and regulator product catalogue, which includes their functions and applications across the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Marine, and Power industry.
• Identify customer needs and pain points to determine the appropriate product line to recommend as part of the solution.
• Collaborate closely with the Inside Sales team for technical support and product demonstration, as well as securing proposals for order processing.
• Work alongside the Service Team and Project Management team as part of the post-sales service and ensure that a consistent level of support is provided to the account.
• Provide sales forecasts and strategy to management and achieve given sales target.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or any related field
• 3 to 5 years of sales experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Marine Industry.
• Comfortable in doing both farming of existing accounts and hunting for new clients.
• Technical knowledge of valves products will be an advantage.
