Job Summary

Coordinate and manage procurement activities to support construction projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, and compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead procurement activities by sourcing, evaluating, and liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to secure materials and services aligned with project requirements
  • Obtain and analyze quotations, prepare detailed comparison sheets, and support purchasing decisions to optimize cost and quality outcomes
  • Issue purchase orders and proactively follow up on delivery schedules to ensure adherence to project timelines
  • Verify that procured materials and services meet project specifications and quality standards through rigorous compliance checks
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely replenishment to prevent project delays and maintain operational continuity
  • Track procurement costs and ensure all purchases remain within approved budgets to support financial control
  • Maintain accurate and organized procurement documentation and records for audit and reporting purposes
  • Collaborate effectively with project, site, and finance teams to resolve procurement-related issues and align procurement activities with project goals
  • Assist in evaluating supplier performance and support contract administration to foster strong vendor relationships and continuous improvement
Required competencies and certifications
  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of procurement experience, preferably within the construction industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement systems to manage procurement workflows efficiently
  • Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills demonstrated through managing supplier relationships and procurement processes
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple procurement tasks concurrently to meet project demands
Preferred competencies and qualifications
  • Familiarity with procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and vendor management specific to construction projects
