We are seeking an experienced Marine Field Service Engineer to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for the commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of marine generators. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with the assembly and repair of marine generators, and/or familiarity with marine electronics and automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing 24/7 standby and emergency call support for customers.
Delivering after-sales technical support, site recovery, and maintenance to both distributors and end customers.
Performing installations, commissioning, and on-site training for customers as per project requirements.
Creating and submitting comprehensive service reports to customers.
Investigating and resolving all customer complaints related to product failures.
Conducting root cause analysis for failures and recommending effective solutions.
Reviewing and assisting in assessing damage and necessary repairs for warranty claims from distributors.
Maintaining strong relationships with key customers to ensure issues are fully resolved.
Developing and updating service training materials and ensuring all technical and training documents are organized.
Providing specialized training to distributors and dealers on service and troubleshooting, aiming for optimal service levels across all partners.

Qualifications & Requirements:

A Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Candidates with equivalent professional backgrounds will also be considered.
The ability and willingness to undertake a fair amount of travel within the Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia regions.
To be a team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a task-oriented approach.
A strong customer service orientation and enthusiasm for power generation products, electrical systems, and control systems.
Prior experience with various electrical and control systems, specifically John Deere ECU and KDI ECU, and synchronization systems, will be a significant advantage.
