About the role
At ASTRO EXPRESS LOGISTICS PTE LTD', we are seeking a highly motivated Shipping Executive to join our dynamic team. As a Shipping Executive, you will play a pivotal role in the smooth operations of our export and customs services. This full-time position is based in our Ang Mo Kio office in the North-East Region, offering you the opportunity to be part of a thriving logistics company.
What you'll be doing- Coordinating the timely and efficient movement of goods through export processes
- Preparing and processing all necessary documentation, including customs declarations, bills of lading, and other shipping paperwork
- Liaising with customers, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure seamless delivery of goods
- Monitoring shipment status and providing regular updates to stakeholders
- Identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the shipping process
- Maintaining accurate records and data to support the company's reporting and compliance requirements
- Collaborating with the wider logistics team to optimise workflows and improve overall efficiency
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar shipping or logistics role
- Strong knowledge of export regulations and customs clearance procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with customers and partners
- Proficient in using relevant shipping/logistics software and systems
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- A team player with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
