Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and versatile Accountant cum HR professional to oversee both Accounting and Human Resource operations in our consulting firm.The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, and managing HR operational matters — including work pass applications (EP, DP, LTVP) as well as Permanent Residence and Citizenship submissions for clients.
This dual-role position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can work independently in a fast-paced consulting environment and manage multiple client portfolios efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Accounting
- Manage 10–20 clients’ full sets of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, cash flow statements, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with GST, corporate tax filing, CPF contributions, and other statutory submissions.
- Prepare and submit IR8A employment income tax forms for both clients and internal staff.
- Monitor budgets, control expenses, and support internal financial reporting.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and relevant government authorities to ensure compliance and smooth operations.
- HR Operations
- Manage internal HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee record maintenance.
- Oversee operation projects:
- Employment Pass, Dependant Pass, and Long-Term Visit Pass applications and subsequent renewals for clients.
- Singapore Permanent Residents and Singapore Citizenship applications & subsequent REP renewal for clients.
- Maintain up-to-date HR policies, employment contracts, and personnel files.
- Ensure compliance with employment regulations and HR best practices.
- Liaise with government agencies to enquire or resolve application issues.
- Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting and HR, preferably in an Accounting firm, consulting or professional services environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple clients’ full sets of accounts independently.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Familiarity with MOM work pass application systems and labour laws.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Mandarin (comprehension, spoken, written, and typing) to liaise with China clients.
- Able to start work immediately will be an advantage.
