Position Overview
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for supporting the company’s market expansion and client engagement initiatives within the aerospace industry. The role requires structured market analysis, relationship management, and alignment between commercial strategy and operational capability.
This position plays an important role in strengthening the company’s presence in the aviation components and repair management sector, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Market Development and Expansion
- Conduct structured research on aerospace market segments, including MROs, aviation operators, and component distributors.
- Identify potential business opportunities within regional and international markets.
- Develop organised business engagement approaches aligned with the company’s product and service capabilities.
- Support preparation of commercial proposals and business documentation.
- Client Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with aviation clients and industry stakeholders.
- Understand client operational requirements and procurement processes.
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal operational teams to ensure alignment of technical and commercial expectations.
- Assist in contract review and documentation processes.
- Commercial and Technical Coordination
- Review technical specifications and aviation documentation related to aircraft components and repair services.
- Ensure that commercial proposals align with regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., FAA, EASA standards where applicable).
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure feasibility of supply and service delivery.
- Industry Monitoring and Strategic Support
- Monitor aerospace industry developments, regulatory updates, and market trends.
- Support management in evaluating new business directions and partnership opportunities.
- Contribute to internal discussions on market positioning and long-term business strategy.
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Aviation Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong interest in the aerospace or aviation supply chain industry.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and understand aviation documentation.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a structured environment.
- Monthly Salary: S$3,500
