Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Clinic Assistant to support daily clinic operations, assist medical procedures, and ensure a positive patient experience at our modern GP clinic in Orchard Road.

• Manage patient flow and operational tasks to ensure efficient daily clinic operations
• Handle clinic appointments, patient registrations, and cashiering with accuracy and professionalism
• Assist the doctor in performing clinical procedures including ECG, wound dressing, and point-of-care testing such as HbA1c for diabetes screening
• Triaging patients presenting with Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) symptoms to direct appropriate medical attention
• Conduct rapid swab tests and PCR diagnostics for Influenza, COVID-19, and other respiratory viruses under supervision
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information responsibly
• Communicate clearly and courteously with patients and colleagues to foster a friendly, patient-focused environment
• Use clinic management software effectively for administrative tasks
• Demonstrate punctuality, responsibility, and eagerness to develop clinical and operational skills

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma, 'A' levels or equivalent qualification (SPM and above are welcome)
• Previous healthcare experience or willingness to learn in a clinical environment
• Basic computer literacy and IT/internet savvy

• Job Type: Full-time
• Salary: $2,300.00 - $3,200.00 per month
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, Saturday (half day)
• Supplemental pay: 13th month salary
• Work Location: In person at Orchard Road clinic
• Expected Start Date: Immediate
