Senior / Project Manager x 2 (MEICA / M&E in Building Construction)

We are seeking highly experienced and results-oriented Senior / Project Managers (MEICA / M&E) to lead and manage Mechanical & Electrical building construction projects from planning through completion. The successful candidate will oversee project execution, team management, client coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and ensure all works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Role Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize all aspects of mechanical & electrical design and engineering, basis of design, scope of work, development of construction documents and execute the project with the detailed designs.
• To plan, coordinate and monitor of project progress to ensure works are executed in accordance with the approved schedule and project milestones.
• To handle and monitor the progress of projects to ensure that work on site is on schedule.
• Report project progress to the Project Director on a regular basis, including updates on schedule status, key milestones, risks, issues and mitigation actions to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Prepare and report project financial performance, including budget status, cost forecasts and cashflow projections, to the Project Director on a quarterly and annual basis, highlighting variances, risks and recommended corrective actions.
• Liaise and coordinate project site works with consultants, vendors, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ensure that all works carried out exceeds industry standards and are in compliance with local legislations, QHSE requirements and other regulations.
• Arrange timely and consistent communication sessions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage the detailed Design of Mechanical and Electrical System of municipal Waste water Treatment Plant, Aviation and Infrastructure Project.

• To oversee the planning, leadership, and monitoring of ongoing projects related to mechanical and electrical engineering.
• To ensure projects are completed within budget, including managing manpower costs effectively.
• To manage timelines to guarantee group of engineers are meeting project deadlines.
• To work with appointed M&E consultant to conceptualize all aspects of Mechanical, Electrical, Bus Depot Equipment, design and engineering, basis of design, scope of work, development of construction documents and execute the project with the detailed designs.
• To Supervise and liaise closely with M&E sub-contractors and site operation team to facilitate installation works on site.
• To manage and oversee M&E and BDE system for LTA Bus Depot Project, ensuring Compliance with regulations and project specifications.
• To Interpret of specifications, compliances, terms and conditions, drawings and any other relevant document including getting budget approval from the relevant approving authorities and assist on the sub-contractor awarding process.
• Able to find potential variance order.
• To involve in planning and technical co-ordination of M&E and BDE services installation work
• Assist and support the Project Director and Senior Project Manager in handling and monitoring the progress of projects to ensure that work on site is on schedule.
• To coordinate with the relevant authorities for design approval and work permission.
• Ensure that all works carried out exceeds industry standards and in compliance with local legislations, QHSE requirements and other regulations.
• Arrange timely and consistent communication sessions with internal and external stakeholders.

Role Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree, recognized by Singapore PEB board.
• Minimum 8 to 10 years’ experience in Project Manager (M&E Construction) role.
• Preferable infrastructure / building services / renewable energy / environmental or LTA project experience.
• Proficient in BIM software and AUTOCAD will be an added advantage.
• Preferably with experience in writing tender specifications.
• Good communication, written and analytical skills, communicate clearly with people at all levels about goals, responsibility, performance, expectations and feedback.
