Accounts Receivable - Specialist (Contract) - Geylang

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our finance operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounts receivable functions, including processing bank statement, customer reconciliation, and transaction support.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely and accurate collection and maintaining positive relationships with our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and review daily bank statements accurately and promptly
- Post incoming payments into the accounting system in a timely manner
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes efficiently
- Perform regular bank reconciliation to ensure alignment between bank and accounting records
- Support month-end closing activities and assist in preparing AR-related reports
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all AR transactions
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant accounting standards
Requirements:
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable or general accounting
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems (e.g. Oracle, or similar ERP platforms)
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player with a proactive and positive attitude
