Our client is a Japanese company specialising in e-waste scrap containing precious metals. They are currently seeking an Assistant Manager - M&E (Facility & Warehouse) to join their team. This role is essential in maintaining and enhancing mechanical and electrical systems to ensure efficiency, reliability, and safety.

You will report directly to the Managing Director.

• Oversee all aspects of mechanical and electrical maintenance from a management perspective; ensure maintenance activities are executed according to plan and standards
• Develop and manage annual maintenance schedules for machinery, facilities, and recovery systems
• Supervise subcontractors or internal staff; ensure proper repairs are carried out and verify technical work quality (especially electrical systems)
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with electrical experts and ensure timely and proper maintenance responses
• Manage the entire warehouse operation, including storage efficiency, inventory control, and workflow improvement
• Monitor and control logistics activities (shipping, receiving, transportation), ensuring alignment with safety and operational policies
• Provide leadership and training to team members to ensure compliance with SOPs and safety practices
• Align with upper management’s direction and implement initiatives accordingly, maintaining a cooperative and constructive attitude

• AWS (December)
• Performance Bonus (based on individual and company performance)
• Annual Leave: 10 days, increasing up to a maximum of 20 days per year
• Medical Leave: 14 days
• Transport pick-up available from the nearest station (shuttle bus)
• Medical Allowance: 500 SGD/year

• Minimum Polytechnic in a science or engineering-related field
• Relevant certifications/licenses in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) work, such as Specialist Diploma in M&E Coordination (SDME)
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in M&E-related roles
• At least 5 years of experience in team management or leading staff from diverse backgrounds (around 10 members)
• Fluent in English in order to communicate with counterparts

• Possess experience in Japanese companies
• Having a Forklift Operator licence will be advantageous!
