Senior HR Executive – Malaysia (Singapore Based) - Bukit Merah

We are seeking an HR professional to be based in Singapore who will support HR operations locally while managing HR matters for Malaysia office. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our HR practices align with employment laws in both countries.

• Work closely with the Senior HR Manager to oversee HR activities, focusing primarily on Malaysia.
• Offer expert advice to ensure HR practices in Malaysia comply with current employment regulations.
• Handle recruitment processes, onboarding, employee relations, and offboarding for staff based in Malaysia.
• Coordinate with external HR consultants and government agencies in Malaysia.
• Draft and review employment agreements and HR policies to meet Malaysian legal requirements.
• Hands-on experience managing payroll for around 50 employees
• Maintain HR records and ensure employee data is kept up-to-date and accurate.
• Ensure that HR standard operating procedures for Malaysia are aligned with Singapore HQ policies.
• Provide guidance to management on potential HR risks and legal compliance issues relating to Malaysian operations.

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline.
• At least 3 to 5 years of HR experience with hands-on exposure to Malaysian labour laws.
• Knowledge of both Singapore and Malaysia employment regulations will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication skills and confidence to engage with stakeholders across borders.
• Independent, organised, and capable of managing HR responsibilities in a regional role.
