Position Description

Provide technical support for end-user technologies, including laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, and potentially network and system components. Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across the company by maintaining and troubleshooting IT infrastructure.

Part A - Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners, including mobile devices such as iPads and iPods.
• Respond promptly to service issues and user requests, ensuring timely resolution.
• Provide technical support across the company, addressing a wide range of IT-related concerns.
• Assist in setting up user accounts, email, and hardware for new employees.
• Diagnose, repair, and replace hardware and equipment as necessary.
• Evaluate, propose, and implement new technologies to improve IT efficiency and user experience.
• Deliver training and support to new users on IT applications, and provide ongoing guidance when needed.
• Ensure the reliability, availability, and uptime of all IT systems and infrastructure.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the immediate superior.

• Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 - 2 years of relevant experience in IT related field.
• Proficiency in MS Office
• In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
• Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
• Basic understanding in TCP/IP and LAN technology
• Proactive team player with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Possess good communication and problem-solving skills.
