Electrical Maintenance Supervisor (Industrial Machines)

About the role

Uniwes Engineering (S) Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Kampong Ubi. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of industrial machines and equipment, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.

1. Supervise and coordinate a team of maintenance technicians and engineers to carry out preventative and corrective maintenance tasks
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues with industrial machines and equipment
3. Plan and schedule maintenance activities to minimise downtime and disruption
4. Liaise with operations and production teams to understand maintenance requirements
5. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and equipment performance
6. Implement and monitor safety procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations
7. Provide technical guidance and support to the maintenance team
8. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement new maintenance strategies

1. Minimum 3 years' experience as an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor or in a similar role within the industrial manufacturing sector
2. Strong technical understanding of industrial electrical systems, motors, and control equipment
3. Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals
4. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
5. Ability to lead and motivate a team of technicians
6. Good interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams
7. Relevant electrical or engineering qualifications (e.g. diploma, degree, or trade certification)
