Role Summary

Our client is an established MNC in the electrical and digital infrastructure solutions industry. They are currently seeking a Regional Key Account Manager to drive sales growth across the data centre segment in Southeast Asia. This is a commercially strategic role focused on developing new business and expanding key account relationships, with a strong emphasis on acquiring and growing major clients in the region.

The ideal candidate is a hunter, not a farmer—someone who thrives on building new opportunities and driving expansion in a highly competitive landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the data centre vertical across Southeast Asia
  • Act as the main point of contact for regional key accounts, developing strong relationships with senior decision-makers
  • Drive cross-selling initiatives across a broad portfolio of infrastructure solutions
  • Execute tailored account strategies to grow revenue and expand the company’s footprint
  • Collaborate with local and global teams to ensure alignment and maximize account penetration
  • Lead contract negotiations and manage the full lifecycle from proposal through renewal
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting, pipeline updates, and account activity in CRM (Salesforce)
  • Coordinate with cross-functional departments (technical, operations, customer service) to ensure seamless delivery
Required Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development
  • At least 5 years of experience specifically in the data centre or infrastructure technology space
  • Demonstrated ability to win new business and grow enterprise accounts across the region
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strong commercial acumen with a consultative selling approach
  • Able to work independently while effectively collaborating with internal stakeholders
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Business (Engineering preferred)
  • Willingness to travel regionally as required
  • Fluency in English; other SEA languages are a plus
