We are looking for a capable and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to oversee and support the planning, coordination, and execution of civil engineering projects. This role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met with high standards of quality and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, technical knowledge in civil and geotechnical engineering, and the ability to lead discussions, manage documentation, and drive progress across all phases of the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  1. Project Support & Execution
  • Prepare, review, and update project schedules and programmes of work.
  • Administer and manage project activities to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Track issues arising in the project and update the status and issues reminder on follow up actions for closing of the matter
  • Monitor progress to ensure timely delivery of project milestones and forecast problems for their prevention.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of all project-related information and submissions.
  • Carried out detailed delay analysis to identify delay and disruption events and their impacts on project schedule
  • Lead meetings, workshops, and discussions, including preparing materials and ensuring accurate records.
  • Assist in tracking project billing and progress claims.
  • Provide regular updates to Project Leads and the Project Manager.
  1. Coordination & Liaison
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including design disciplines and quantity surveyors.
  • Liaise with clients, specialists, stakeholders, authorities, agencies, and other project parties to ensure smooth execution.
  1. Reporting & Documentation
  • Prepare key reports and deliverables such as Monthly Progress Report, Monthly Manpower and Resource Report and Project Risk Report.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) of Singapore.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering design or project management, especially in geotechnical, infrastructure, or marine/coastal projects.
  • Familiarity with authority submission requirements and processes.
  • Knowledge of land reclamation, port & jetty, and coastal engineering projects is preferred.
  • Experience in contract administration is an advantage.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including multitasking and time management.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, responsible, proactive, and resourceful.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Primavera P6 is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and planning skills.
  • Willingness to travel overseas when required.
