Job Description:

Join a government agency to provide administrative and operational support to the IT Infrastructure team. This role is suitable for candidates with administrative, coordination, records management, or operations support experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and coordination support to Project Managers and IT officers for infrastructure-related operations
  • Assist with document preparation, filing, digitization and records management
  • Liaise with service providers on routine operational matters
  • Track and maintain records for backup media handling and returns
  • Support stock take exercises and inventory management of hardware and peripherals
  • Maintain records of departmental assets, including keys, cabinets and storage media
  • Digitize hardcopy documents for storage in digital repositories
  • Support routine audit checks and verification exercises
  • Assist with disposal and record updates for expired hardware and peripherals
  • Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma qualification
  • Administrative, operations support, records management or coordination experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Meticulous and organized with strong attention to detail
  • Able to handle documentation and inventory tracking duties
