Investment Operations Analyst - Toa Payoh

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Investment Support:
• Provide operational support to the investment team to help meet strategic objectives.
• Manage the full trade lifecycle, including trade capture, confirmation, and settlement for listed and OTC instruments.
• Reconciliation & Data Integrity:
• Perform daily reconciliation of cash balances, positions, and trades across multiple asset classes (equities, fixed income, derivatives, private securities).
• Track and process corporate actions, ensuring timely updates and adjustments.
• Trade & Cash Management:
• Prepare and review daily dealing summaries.
• Monitor and reconcile cash movements; support daily cash management activities.
• Reporting & Analytics:
• Ensure accurate and timely generation of daily investment and operational reports.
• Utilize FactSet and other systems for portfolio analytics and performance tracking.
• Operational Efficiency:
• Maintain high standards of data entry accuracy and integrity.
• Continuously review existing workflows and recommend process improvements.
• Work closely with post-trade, accounting, and compliance teams to implement operational enhancements.
• Audit Support:
• Support audit processes by preparing required documentation and data extracts.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors to address queries related to investment operations.
• Ensure proper recordkeeping and controls to meet audit and regulatory standards.
• Project & System Support:
• Assist in onboarding new investments or trading activities into existing systems and platforms.
• Support ad-hoc operational projects and system upgrades as required.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong interest in financial markets and investment operations.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with financial systems (e.g., FactSet, Bloomberg) is a plus.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
