Job Description
- Assist in establishment and maintenance of standard operating procedures and ensure daily control measures are in place.
- Review and conduct audit checks on daily cashier collections, day-end closing and ensure that the Business Office team has recorded payments received from patients and client accounts.
- Oversee the processing of credit card collections for patients’ payments and refunds.
- Assist in the management of accounts receivables, refunds to patients, doctors' fee payments, Medisave/MediShield/Insurance reimbursements.
- Guide business office team members on attending to patients, doctors or customers’ enquiries and feedback and correspondence with insurance providers and CPF.
- Maintain good rapport with patients, doctors, clinic staff, insurance providers and the general public.
- Work closely with all stakeholders in the management of patients' journey in the hospital.
- Participate and lead in process improvement projects.
- Perform other tasks assigned.
- Degree holder with accounting background.
- At least 3-5 years of working experience in Business Office in a hospital.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel applications.
- Willing to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Self-driven and motivated individual who can contribute positively within a team environment.
