Geylang - Shopping Mall Concierge | Customer Service Specialist (Up to $3400/mth)

Salary: $2300 - $3400 (depends on relevant experiences)

Job Description:

As a Senior / Customer Service Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to shoppers and tenants, handling inquiries, feedback, and assisting with updates related to Merchant ID and Terminal ID. Your role will also involve roving duties across the mall to ensure that all areas are well-maintained, compliant with mall policies, and provide assistance in promoting the shopping app to shoppers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the rostrum and demonstrate excellent customer service skills during your shift.
• Conduct roving duties across common areas and retail spaces to ensure cleanliness and flag any maintenance issues or customer feedback to the relevant departments.
• Provide accurate and timely clarifications and advice to public inquiries.
• Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Perform paging and in-house announcements as per standard guidelines.
• Manage incoming calls and make outgoing calls as necessary.
• Administer lost and found items.
• Assist in executing mall promotions and events.

Requirements:

• GCE ‘O’ Levels or above.
• Preferably with 1-2 years of experience in a similar customer service role.
• A team player with a pleasant disposition and strong communication skills.
• High self-initiative and strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of local dialects is an advantage.
• Ability to work 6 rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Computer literate with customer-oriented interpersonal skills.
