Operations Director

Role Overview

This role will own the end-to-end operations ecosystem—from freight and supply chain, to warehouse management, to sales administration—driving operational efficiency, cross-market standardisation, and commercial scalability.

1. Regional Operations Leadership

• Oversee the full sales operations, supply chain, and logistics network across all markets (Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Australia, emerging markets).
• Direct the end-to-end supply chain including international freight (sea/air/trucking), import/export compliance, customs clearance, and last-mile distribution.
• Manage and optimise regional warehouses and inventory hubs, ensuring cost-efficient storage, expiry-date controls, LOT tracking, and ≤1% shrinkage.
• Implement standardised operating procedures (SOPs) for receiving, picking/packing, cross-docking, and reverse logistics across markets.
• Lead and find efficiency in sales administration and coordination functions, ensuring seamless order processing, invoicing accuracy, and customer service.

1. Financial & P&L Management

• Own regional Operations & Supply Chain P&L with a focus on:
• Freight and logistics cost control, negotiating 3PL contracts and carrier rates to improve cost-to-serve.
• Accurate monthly cost forecasting

1. Technology & Process Innovation

• Champion ERP/CRM optimisation (e.g., NetSuite, Shopify, Oracle) to improve order accuracy, LOT tracking, automated reporting, and demand planning.
• Drive digital transformation in inventory forecasting, freight tracking

1. People & Team Leadership

• Lead a regional operations organisation including:
• Supply Chain & Freight (import/export, cross-border logistics).
• Warehouse Managers (Singapore & Hong Kong) as well as 3PL accounts (Malaysia, Australia).
• Sales Operations Supervisor, Sales Coordinators, and Admin Teams (order processing, invoicing, customer service).
• Foster a performance-driven culture with clear KPIs, structured career development, and cross-market collaboration.

• Degree/Master’s in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum 10–12 years’ experience in regional operations and supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role (FMCG, sports nutrition, or consumer health preferred).
• Proven success in multi-market supply chain leadership (freight, warehousing, last-mile logistics) across Southeast Asia or Asia Pacific.
• Deep understanding of retail distribution models (listed vs consignment), trade marketing ROI, and cross-border regulatory frameworks.
• Advanced analytical skills, with mastery of Excel, and Netsuite
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural communication skills.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a “builder mentality”, capable of scaling new markets and categories.
• High agility to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced growth environment.
