Business Development Executive

A willingness to learn and strong interest in automotive or marine engines are the key ingredients to be successful in this field.

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the Business Development Executive is expected to:

• Set up and achieve annual sales and market share targets for the assigned region in Asia, in line with the company’s strategic objectives
• Develop distributor’s overall capabilities through implementation of distributor’s scorecard
• Conduct regular field visits and assist distributors with business development plans
• Work cross functionally with Marketing, Service, Supply Chain and Finance teams to ensure customer satisfaction

• Able to do presentations in a confident manner with large audience
• Possess achievement drive, results-oriented and with a keen eye for details
• Strong ability to work across teams of diverse background, culture and experience and resolve issues independently
• Good communication skills with a desire to negotiate, persuade and influence
• Closely follow through on assignments, adjust schedules, and set priorities

Requirements:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Business or relevant Engineering discipline
• Preferably with 2 to 3 years of working experience in a sales, business development or engineering role; candidates with no working experience equipped with a willingness to learn will also be considered
• Bilingual in English and another Asian language (e.g. Bahasa Indonesia, Chinese) to serve Bahasa Indonesia and Chinese speaking associates
• Self-starter, results-oriented and attention to details
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to work across team of diverse background, culture and experience
