Shipping and Project Coordinator
About the role
As the Shipping and Project Coordinator at Orient Technology (S) Pte Ltd, you will play a crucial role in managing the logistics and coordination of the company's shipping and manufacturing operations. In this full-time position based in the Paya Lebar East Region, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of goods and the successful delivery of products for our esteemed clients.
What you'll be doing- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the shipping process, from order fulfilment to final delivery, ensuring timely and efficient transport of goods
- Liaise with internal teams, external vendors, and clients to manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables
- Prepare and process all necessary documentation, including customs clearance, invoices, and shipping records
- Monitor shipment status and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the shipping and project lifecycle
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of shipping and project management processes
- Provide administrative support and assistance as required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar shipping, logistics, or project coordination role
- Strong understanding of import/export and customs procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in using relevant software and technology for shipping, project management, and data analysis
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
