Project Engineer (ACMV)

The Project Engineer (ACMV) is responsible for coordinating and supporting the execution of ACMV projects, ensuring works are delivered in accordance with approved designs, specifications, safety requirements, and project schedules.

This role works closely with project managers, engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and consultants to manage day-to-day project activities, provide technical coordination, and ensure effective integration between design intent and on-site implementation.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage ACMV project activities from planning through execution and completion
• Review and coordinate ACMV drawings, schematics, and technical specifications for site implementation
• Support ACMV design coordination, including equipment selection, load calculations, and design clarifications
• Plan and monitor project schedules, work progress, and resource deployment
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and quality delivery
• Support site supervision activities including inspections, testing, and commissioning works
• Identify, track, and support resolution of technical, coordination, and site issues
• Ensure works comply with workplace safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company standards
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, progress reports, and records
• Participate in project meetings and support coordination with consultants and clients
• Support preparation of as-built drawings, operation manuals, and project handover documentation

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related fields
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience in ACMV project execution or building services engineering
• Good understanding of ACMV systems, equipment, controls, and project workflows
• Ability to read, interpret, and coordinate ACMV drawings and technical specifications
• Basic knowledge of ACMV design principles, calculations, and equipment selection
• Strong coordination, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a project team environment
• Demonstrates clear communication and stakeholder coordination skills
• Willingness to continuously develop technical and project management capabilities
