Paediatric Dental Assistant and Receptionist
About the role
Are you a people-person with excellent communication skills? Join our friendly team at Just Kids Dental Clinic as a full-time Dental Receptionist and Assistant. Excellent dentist to assistant ratio! In this varied role, you'll be the first point of contact for our young patients and their families, providing exceptional customer service while also supporting our dentists with clinical duties.The position is based at our East Coast Central Region clinic.
What you'll be doing- Greeting and welcoming patients and their families in a warm and friendly manner
- Scheduling and managing patient appointments
- Handling telephone inquiries and responding to patient questions and concerns
- Assisting dentists with clinical procedures as needed
- Managing patient records and other administrative tasks
- Promoting the clinic's services and maintaining a positive, professional image
- Upkeeping a clean and hygiene environment
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or assistant, ideally in a paediatric dental setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with patients of all ages but especially with children
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- To be computer-literate
- A caring, patient-centric approach and a genuine interest in providing high-quality care

Working hours:
Monday- Thursday 8.30am to 5.30pm
Friday 10.30am to 6.30pm
Saturday 8.30am to 2.30pm
Closed on all public holidays
