About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our practice in the Upper Thomson Central Region. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists and providing exceptional patient care.This is a full-time position, offering a friendly and collaborative work environment.
What you'll be doing- Assisting dentists during dental procedures by passing instruments, setting up equipment, and maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Sterilising and disinfecting dental instruments and equipment
- Preparing and organising treatment rooms for patients
- Maintaining accurate patient records and dental charts
- Ordering and stocking dental supplies as needed
- Performing basic administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries
- Previous experience working as a Dental Assistant, preferably in a private dental practice
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact with patients in a friendly and empathetic manner
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately
- Good manual dexterity and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in basic computer skills, including electronic record-keeping
- Knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and procedures
